Rattling noise when turning

I get a rattling noise when turning. Sounds like someone is hitting my steering shaft repeatedly with a hammer. It only does it on right turns when the wheel is at a sharp angle and low speeds. Primarily, I hear it when making a tight sharp turn to do a U-turn or similar. Any ideas?

Is your tire rubbing something? or check you front axle u-joints(steering joints). One may be binding up.

I'm betting your steering stop is not adjusted right and letting the axle u-joint bind up.
Or the tire is rubbing the spring.
