FYI, Scotchlocks DO NOT belong anywhere near YOUR :censored: vehicle!!!!!!!!
The end!!!

I pritty much have to make a whole body harness out of scratch. there isent ONE wire that is the color its supposed to be.

Is that like duct tape? :)

Duct tape was used as a factory wiring sealant on the CJ'7, right over the engine harness 10 gauge crimp connector.

Ya don't want to void the warranty, do ya?

But yes, scotchlocks are horrible.

The PO must of had stocks in the things...

Good wiring is a must. Learning to solder and shrink tube your connections are well worth it! An inexpensive iron and some how to videos and you will be on your way.

Thanks for the tip, but ive made a few harneses in my day...:chug:

Ha, didn't know what scotchlocks were because I always threw those things away.

I can't believe decent companies like MSD and Flex a Lite still send them with their products.

They have to be spec'd by young engineers that don't know any better.

In salt country they work for maybe a year and then corrode. Definitely not for trailer light connections.

Don't ask:bang:
