Ok gang, looking for some ideas. I havent been able to drive my 8 for few months due to a bad front wheel bearing and me working non stop. Had to move it the other day and the rear wheels locked up with the slightest tap of the brake pedal . I dismissed it thinking I must've tapped the pedal harder than I thought, but it kept happening . Fluid level in the m/c is fine. All I can think of is m/c or proportion valve has issue's. Anyone else experience this?

Do you have disk or drum brakes on the rear? After sitting for months, rust will settle on either and cause them to grab until it wears off a little.

Drum on the rears. I didnt think about rust :o For us (so-cal) we did get alot of rain this winter, so rust makes sense.I hope to replace the wheel bearing and drive her some this weekend so that should take care of any rust.

Brake fluid or gear oil will cause this if it gets on the brake shoes. You might have a leaking axle seal or wheel cylinder.

i have a work truck that does that after a rain or humid night. it only does it for a few hundred feet though. then its all right

I only moved it 50 ft the other day. She will likely get some miles put on her next week as my DD has started making a crunching noise when I turn sharply. I'll pull the drum and check for any leaks. Thanks for the ideas guys :chug:
