Yeah...this is what I do. Cause inadvertently I'm a few beers in when I start reassembly which is not recommended haha. So when I get lost I just go to the other side.

Thanks men I was able to get it back together. The pics helped. Can any one tell me if the banana clip that holds the safety cable has a certain way of going on. It has a long and short side does the long side go to the drivers side?

The only 'cable' is for the self adjusters to work.
There is a cable attached to the back of the P'brake shoe.

I'm pretty sure he means that "equalizer bar that connects the two cables coming off the drum to the single cable going back to the pedal in the cab. I'm not sure if mine was positioned as stock. When looking at it in relation to the distance between the center and where each cable from the drum attaches, the "wider" part was faced pointing up and was attached to my passenger side drum, and the "less wide" was faced down toward pavement and attached to the driver side drum. Pretty sure if you google ebrake cable routing for the CJ you'll come up with some images...
