I just removed the rear shackles from my 82 CJ7 . They measure 3" from bolt hole to bolt hole. Are these considered 3" shackles? Also would that be the stock shackle? I believe they are due to the crazy rust and wear. I'm having problems finding replacement shackles as they don't tell you the measurement of the shackle at online stores, just what lift it provides, if any. I just want to lift it up a .5-1" more over where it's at now. The shackles had the two blots welded on to one half of the shackle. My research leads me to believe they are stock. Any advice on my replacement? :chug:

sounds like they are stock, stock is 3" and considered stock height.
A half inch lift will be a 4" shackle, a 1" lift will be 5" long.
Be aware that the longer the shackle the more it will throw your caster off.
