83' CJ7-35's, granny T18, clocked, locked, 456s, D30 20 trussed- stitched-heim traction-1 piece shafts, CV dshaft, quick discos, xtended shock mounts, SOA, revolvers rear, braided lines, herculined, hand throttle, AMC saddle bags, rebuilt 258, D300.
Anyone know of a good place online for an engine rebuild kit. Mine appears to be due, or overdue:mad:. AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ...

1st choice would be Hesco. Not the cheapest but they got the good stuff.

Jeep contracted Hesco for all the race rigs back in the day. Hesco knows more about Jeeps then Jeep does.

Give Bennie a call. He can hook you up. Just don`t ask him about the "special" engines stored upstairs. You will be on the phone all day.:D
 
Engine tech kits from ebay are good, I used one. All name brand parts in enginetech packaging. Clevite bearing, melling oil pump, cloyes timing set, felpro gaskets, federal mogul or sealed power pistons, sealed power rings, etc. About $400 off of ebay.
