Rebuilding Rear Axle

1975 Jeep CJ5 Dana 44 Rear Axle
When installing the axle shaft back into the housing, does the rear brake support plate go on to the housing first then the rear wheel bearing retainer is bolted to it or does the rear wheel bearing retainer go on first and then the rear brake support plate bolted to it? Thanks for your help.

I don't run a Dana 44 so I can be of no help with your question, but wanted to welcome you to the site - someone will be along shortly to answer I'm sure....
