WOW it feels like a new Jeep.Doesnt wander and most of the slop in the steering is gone.:D

Just did this with mine. Went into a shop to get a price on a sway bar and the guy that runs the shop told me it was the steering shaft.

Ordered it in, he added some shims to the lift to fix some angles and the new steering shaft. This thing went from white knuckle at anything over 35 to one handed cruising at 65.

I still have a couple things to do to the front end and then I will get the thing aligned.Hope not to find any surprises

New steering dampener.........wow getting even better.
Next is a front end alignment.

Now thats a good Shop story! not selling you what you wanted but actually selling you what you needed!

Yes it was. He actually ended up getting a good bit more money out of it too than if he had just ordered what I asked for. Win/Win

It's crazy for me because I had just become used to it. The only reason I even decided to look at it was because my wife thought about driving it the other day and I was really scared to let her try.

Now I can't even understand how I drove this thing down the cross-streets much less the highway.

3 trips to alignment shop and still changing parts to where they can align it up.One more and maybe ..........
