Hey all,

I'm going to replace the u joints in both the front and rear driveshafts in my 83 CJ7 . I'd like to have dependable and strong u joints, within reason. Any suggestions on brand and vendors?

Thanks

Go with Moog. If you have the stock driveshafts they are Moog-280 on the driveshaft front and rear and Moog-260 for the front axle shaft on a Dana 30 . They are great u-joints and the cost won't break the bank. I pretty much go with Moog everywhere I can when I do driveline related work.

Thanks sir.
Before you order make sure you are ordering the right ones. Take a look at what's on your jeep already.

Dana-Spicer or Moog are GTG.
Get the greaseable ones.

Thanks guys

I ordered four Moog's. Figured I'd replace all the driveshaft joints at one time.
