I just replaced my Buick 225 Odd Fire with the 231 Even fire. The carb i set on top is the Rochester Dual Jet 210. Im a little confused on the vacuum line as to which ones are the correct ones I should use.

All Im running is the port for the PCV and the Vacuum advance. I just want to make sure im using the correct ports but i can not find any diagrams for this. Can any one tell me which ports are the proper ones for the PCV and the Vacuum advance for my distributor???

You help is much appreciated, thank you-

All you need is a vacuum gauge to get correct ports. Ported vacuum to your distributor. You should adjust yout idle speed screw so that when the throttle plated are closed (at idle) there is 0hg vacuum being pulled from your ported vacuum port (choke open) When you accelerate, you should have full vacuum through the ported port. for your PCV, it should be a larger port, constantly pulling manifold vacuum. That nes pretty simple. An excellent upgrad for the Roach DJ is a Motorcraft 2150/1.08 venturis.

I asked about upgrading to a MC 2150 but never got an answer. Is there an adapter plate for these to fit a v6 manifold?

I have searched and came up with nothing. Easiest thing to do would be find an after market intake. I picked up a Offenhauser 360 a while back. Its for a 4 barrel but at least its a common pattern, so i can at least put that on and us an adapter to put a more common 2 barrel back on.

We had to make a custom air filter housing to fit it to. I searched every junk yard around and was unable to find the one that matched. So i found an old top and bottom with a 6" hole, made a template of the carb and with a a few tack welds and some silicon we made it happen. I was able to get a nice Fram air filter from Shuck's for $8. Easy money. Custom air filter housing.
