I have side pipes on my Jeep and want to put rock sliders in between them and the body. I know everyone says, "Why would you put sliders when you already have side pipes?", but I want them cause they look good. Is it possible to put the sliders in between the side pipes and the body? Or will my side pipes have to moved/modified for them to fit?

If anyone has any pictures of rock sliders with side pipes that would be great. I want to see what they look like before I spend some money on them.

i don't have side pipes but i want to put sliders on mine just to have them as a just in case. My friend has a crawler and i am going to steal his idea and modify it a bit.... i am going to make mine out of 2" square tubing. i am going to weld them to the frame. but my idea is to make them removable in case they are damaged or what ever. I am going to weld a 2" square piece to a plate. i am going to have the slider part also welded to a piece of 2" tubing that will have a second plate welded to it. the two plates will be drilled to have matching holes line up and grade 8's holding them together. so i am going to have this set up at 4 points on the frame to have the look that i want and have them removable. i hope this helps out a little bit.

I will probably build my own as well, but I want to see some pics of what they look like with side pipes.

Heres my Jeep.

I used to have straight side pipes with no muffler or anything just hanging there but removed it last week got these stainless steel headers and flowmaster mufflers. I have the smittybilt rock sliders installed and they look awesome. No trouble intefering what so ever, just depens how high your pipes are
