RS9000XL vs OME for stock suspension?

Just as the title says. They are both the same price, (although the only PN I could find for the OME is N41 and it's collapsed and extended length is the same as the Rancho). I've heard nothing but good things about OME, but wanted to see the advice of the members.

Hard for me to believe that Rancho 9000XL adjustable shocks are the same price as some basic monroe's.............Either some parts guy is taking advantage or you have crossed the wrong numbers.

The Old Man Emu Shocks (60032 and 60036 PN are from TJ Burris at ARB in Washington) are about $110 per shock.

The Racho RS99913XL is $93 per shock.

I would not wast my money on Rancho shocks on a stock Jeep. I have found that they don't last any longer or ride any better than a gas shock from Napa.

Get the 'softest' shock you can, and don't worry about brand names.

I just re-read your original email. You have a wide-trac CJ7 (1976-1981 were narrow trac) the 1982-86 were wide trac. Your front shock tower is taller and therefore you need a different part number in front.
You will need the 60032 front shocks.
The rear part will still be the 60036
