Yeah, that green scenery is great, the trail looks good also. So, just how much trail time to camp? Good old fashioned Jeep trip. Around here the desert is just too hot and in the mountains the terrain is just too dry and ready to burn.

Well, it's about 1.5 hours to the trail head from home. Trail to mountain is about 30 minutes and the run up the mountain takes about an hour with no stopping. The trail to the beach from the base of the mountain is about an hour as well. So it's a nice easy day trip with a lunch for the mountain or a weekend with some beach time and exploring etc. Temps in the mid 70s tomorrow.
