Hello again, wondering if a factory Scrambler 1/2 hard top would fit a 77 CJ7 ?

Perhaps a simple answer, but I am just looking for one. What would be a good price to pay for one? I think I'm getting a deal, wanna make sure.

THANKS!!!

Possibly you'd have to check the seating surface in the corners.
I made a half cab from a full top on a CJ7 , by removing a section and glassing it back together.

Its been done. To find out details pm or email Certifiable Jeep. He has a project he called Scram J-7. Im sure he has detailed info on how he set it up. He may even have a pic or 2 here in the gallery.

are the rear curtains the same?

You can use the bulkhead from a Scrambler. It follows the same bodyline of the rear floor as a CJ7 . The Scrambler just gets its added length in the be area. Honestly it shouldnt be too difficult. You would have to use the older style Cj roll bar that mounts to just the top of the wheelwells so the top would fit.

My Roll bar sits on rails across the top of the wheel wells, I assume that is a good thing for this application...thanks for the reply!

Yes you have the correct one. Sorry I didnt look at your profile , my fault. Any luck in getting ahold of Certifiable??
