Scrambler's worth?

I'm kicking around selling my 8, and wondered what the realistic value is. 83 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l with Mopar MPI,T-5 Transmission , 115000 miles +/- mostly all stock/ original cond. I dont need to sell it, dont really want to sell it. I'm trying to stick alittle rainy day cash in the bank before it rains, and the sale of this toy could do that. Dunno, what do you guy's and gals think. 100k?

Dang one of my favorite Scramblers for sale? Its terrible time to be selling that now. Prices have really been on the downward spiral with the economy and people caving in and selling cheaper doesnt help. Wasnt long ago these fetched between $12000 to $15000. Now Id bet around $9000 to $11000 and thats finding the right buyer. Hed have to be liking that color/year/interior.

If you look back a few months Jscherbs Scrambler with f.i. and in nice shape went for $8500. Yours grabs more due to the original paint/decal combo. The body on that one looks pretty sweet. If its that way throughout Id look to the slightly higher side. You could always list it on the CJ8 site and see what you get. Is it worth it though? How easily can you replace it if you decide you made a mistake. Id hang on to it myself. At least till after election day.

Thanks guy's ! If I do decide to sell,I wont go lower than whatever bottom $ I determine it's worth. Like I said, I don't have to nor do I really want to. If I sold all my other toys , they would'nt add up to 1/2 of what the 8 is worth. Thats why I considered selling the 8, thats all. Thank's again !
