Serpentine belt ????

Hello All. Picked up a used power steering system and tilt wheel colum and just got it installed. I already had the serpent pulleys on my 1983 CJ5 with the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . The power steering pump I got also has the serpent pulley. Problem is I am not sure on the routing of the belt. The pump bracket has an idler pulley over the pump. I dont think the belt will grab enough of the pump pulley with out slipping. I also need a longer belt. Just do not see any other way to route it. Does anyone have a diagram of this belt routing. Thats strange that you have a serpintine belt on an 83 did someone add a later model set up on it?

I do not know if its a stock belt since it was used when i got it. I have been told that they did come with the serpent belt in 83.

California emission Jeeps came with them. I had an 84 that had serpentine set up and the Jeep came from L.A. area.
