i am wanting to level my CJ7 out. the front is about 2 inches lower from center fender than the rear center fender. I was thinking about doing the 1.75 front (rough country) shackles.
issue is i read in another forum that the stock shackle is 4 in from hole center to hole center. I just measured mine and it is 3 1/4 in from shackle center hole to center hole.

i just want to make sure i will be ordering the correct shackle lift height. Bc if stock is 4 then my lift will be .75 in higher than i need.

Any imput would be great. Thanks

I wouldn't put a shackle lift up front. They can cause wander.
If you want to lift the front I would do it with a spring lift. You can buy just the front springs.

I agree with Dave.
anything over a half inch shackle lift is asking for trouble.

Also what ever length shackle you buy will only be lifting the front by half of that because your axle is half way back on the spring, and you are pivoting only one side.

If you question the "level" of your CJ put a level on a surface that is supposed to be level. the top surface of the body or the rear floor. wheel to fender measurement can be misleading.
Avoid shackles.:D

i did a shakle reversal on the front and it gave it about 1 inch of lift. (+ 4 inch springs and a SOA 1ton's) you'll improve alot, no bump steer, better flex and youll increase stability at high speeds..... if your jeep even gets to that un heard of 75+ mph lmao
