shackle qustion

hey guys i just got my new shackles from Quadratec and they sent 2 pairs of rear shackles what i want to know is is the rear the same as the front or do i need to send it back for a pair of fronts i cant get a hold of them till Monday and all ready have the jeep jack up

if i remeber right the rear are wider than the front.

55-75 front and rear shackles are the same.

76-86 front and rear shackles are different widths.

Did you get stock two piece replacements? You may be able to reuse the old center sleeves.

no i order 1/2 lift daystar one peace shackles just notice on the box they both say rear

Well that sucks. I have had too many orders messed up by Q that I refuse to order from them any more. I almost always order from Morris. They are in Pompano, Fl. They usually deliver to me in one day and I'm only a few hours from your location. Our site gets a 15% discount from them also.

yeah there closed till monday and not sure but they may have sent me the wrong motor mount as well got the motor jack up and the old one out and the new one don't line up

Again, that is why I shop Morris and not the Q anymore. I sure hope you get it straightened out!

Somebody will correct me if wrong,But one set will be 2" and other will be 2 1/2" but not sure which ones are which. Possibly marked on the box marked "rear".

yes ur are right the frounts are 2" and the rear are 2 7/8 bouth sets are 3" apart and bout boxes where marked rear so either way i got to send on pair back just got to wait till monday to call them and let them know

will the rear has trued out to be more than a days job thanks to a Reese hitch and i cant break lose any of the bolts on the hitch what moron would make such a thing where you cant get to bolts and if i can get it off i got to cut the shackle bolts off cause the head is right up again the gas tank more morons so tells me the shackels are originals

lmao its not the engineers its the morons at the plant they put the shackles on first then the gas tank knowing if u have to remove the shackles u have to re move the gas tank or cut the bolts

well i called quadertec Monday and told them they sent the wrong shackled they said no problem and just got the shackle today well the morons sent the same shcake i quess they cant read the box says rear and told them i need the front now i got 3 sets of rear shackles this will be the last time i order from them
