Hello all I've been lurking the forums for several months but haven't posted to much as of yet. I did an intro post but still have not got my CJ from MI unfortunately, which bring me to posting this thread. Has anyone shipped their Jeep across the country and if so which company did you use. I've searched Google and got tons of quotes ranging from around $800 to over $1300. My concern is not finding the cheapest deal but finding a shipper that has a decent reputation and preferably one that someone has worked with. Especially since I will not be there when it is loaded (a family member will be.) So long post short if you have used a shipper who did you use and would you recommend them? Thanks for your input, I look forward to lots more interaction once I get the ol' guy here!

I used Uship a few times now. I've had them shipped from Pittsburgh , New Jersey , and Virginia with good results each time. It's not just lowest bid you can see insurance coverage and schedules different carrier options etc. It's always good to have a ad up a few weeks before you want pick up to get the best price. Non running Cjs will cost more and limit your options.

Thanks very much for the responses guys I appreciate them. I will definitely look into uship. Look forward to sharing my build with you once the jeep gets here
