shock location

i was looking at my rear shocks today, before beating them off with a hammer, and was wondering if anyone has change the shock mount location to obtain more efficient absorption or is this something better left stock.

I would go with what you have. without knowing what mechanics was used to establish where they are now I don't think I would be able to do any better. If this information is available I would be all about re inventing the wheel.

I've seen them tilted in but that affects the damping rate and travel.

Best off leaving the mounts alone and getting some better shocks.
