Shocks

I was given a set(2) of brand new Billstein 5150 series Shocks. They are discontinued so I'm wondering if I can run two different sets of shocks. Front different than rear. Same style just rear will be the 5160 series billsteins and the 5150 series in the front.

Should be ok as long as their the right length.

Billstien does not make shocks that fit my CJ5 without major modification.

both front must match and both rear must match but the front doesn't have to match the rear.

Also listen to IO and Old Dog. Make sure they are the right length. Measure the maximum & min length of the shocks and also of the fully extended and compressed suspension.
