Dana 300 t-case, stock axles & brakes,
4" Skyjacker lift w/ 35" BFG's
On the hole in my pitman arm, should the bottom opening be slightly larger than the top? Is this due to wear or design? It's not oval shaped, just bigger in the bottom than the top.

I thought my drag link was worn out based on slop in the connection. But after removing it, it looks fairly normal to me.
 
yes it should have the same tapper as the TRE that fits into it.

Really? Wasn't the tierod end stud that you had to remove in order to observe the hole tapered? Sorry, just in one of those fired up moods. :)
