Just wondering for the suspension bushings on my '86 CJ7 (spring hanger, front of the spring and rear of the spring) should all three sets have metal sleeves inside of the bushings?

At present the bushing at the rear of the spring and the front of the spring have metal sleeves inside the bushings, but the spring hanger bushings do not.

By now most guys have the aftermarket type of spring shackle which uses 1/2" bolts and neopreme bushings, not requiring bushings except at the spring pivots. As I recall, the oem type of spring shackle had 5/16 thru bolts and bushings to keep correct spacing. The aftermarket types require just a light snug of those huge 1/2" bolts. Hope that helps.

What Torx said if you have cj springs. Most yj springs use sleeves all around.

Yeah I'm running OME YJ springs and aftermarket greasable shackles. Trying to sort out some handling issues and added new bushings to the springs and wanted to set them up proper.
