Not sure if any of you are Nascar fans out there, BUT WTF  Never been a big fan of plate racing, but Nascar has turned this into an absolute snooze fest, they want to see daylight between the cars in the corners no bump drafting no agressive bump drafting, they have tuned this sport down so much it's no longer exciting, hell they might as well just have qualifying set the winner and skip the race all together.

They really have taken all excitement out of this sport all together it's all most to the point if I have a choice to watch a race or watch The Ghost Wisperer with the wife, I will take the Wisperer.

Now don't get me wrong I am all for safety BUT there needs to excitement hard racing, emotions, I want to see a driver cuss another out or throw a punch and not have to be worried about getting fined 100k for "actions detromental to NASCAR"

They wonder why ratings are down? do any of the folks in Nascar actually watch a race?

Had to rant sitting here watching this thing drivers afraid to pass or get to close and get in trouble by the Nascar gods

Was Logano running? His father prolly paid off someone for the ruling so his kid wont get hurt. I like Joey, he's a good kid (or was) but due to some personal dealings, his old man is not on my favorites list. Nascar is turning PC.

Logano was leading for a bit as he should, hell I think I could the way they got this thing running. oh some excitement! Hamlin just lost the motor no wreck just some smoke woohoo LOL to bad I like watching Denny run well. I like the old school drivers that are still running Jeff Burton, Not a big Martin Fan but definately feel he deserves the cup this year, Like Stewart he really has come a long way from when he first came into the sport, didn't care for him at all then,

It's unfortunate been following Nascar for years and I really have lost interest due to the way they have toned it down and controlled it. Tired of seeing the rehersed responses to questions, they need to lake a look at the IROC series, it's no longer around, they've tried the "all cars created approach" it didn't work. Racing= go fast, why keep slowing them down

NASCAR = WWE wrestling

It's all scripted and rehearsed ahead of time.

LOL I can all most agree with you Elwood, especialy with the "debris" cautions they tend to throw and yet you hardly ever see them pick up a piece of debris

Did you see Ryan Newman's wreck, damn that was a bad one. NASCAR isn't going to be happy until they get someone else killed.

Yeah watching it now they still haven't gotten him out, again this was a result of their rules, looks to me this was all caused cause the daylight rule guys checking up for the corner. All they are doing is making this more dangerous for the drivers. get rid of the plates they want them to go slower drop CI of the engine for that race or get rid of the super speedways all together,

WOW they finally got him out. good to see he's OK

Did you catch the interview with Ryan, he's saying the same thing Nascar needs to pull their heads out of their :censored:'s they are making the problem worse every time thet try to make is better. Listen to the drivers they are the ones who have to deal with it

Im sure he'll be fined for being exactly right. Nascar is hardly worth watching anymore. I dont think its scripted though. Jr didnt win and theyd love that . Of course so would I

wishing jr would win to. that was the most boring race i have ever seen there. they need to go back to the beating and banging of the 70s and 80s. that would make it more fun to watch again or jr actually winning a race.

I agree with you I never thought it was scripted to many veriables for that, but I do think they throw the debris cautions at times it's beneficial for certain drivers. It is hardly worth watching but I still do, guess it's out of habit. One of the things along with many others that I wonder is Bristol sells out every time, yet they continue to build these cookie cutter tracks like Lowes speedway?

I have found that I actually enjoy watching IRL which I never cared for but there doesn't seem to BS that Nascar has

Speaking of Jr. I was at a buddies watching the race a while back Jr was running pretty good that race the anouncer made the comment that JR was up to 10'th my buddies dog raised his head then put it back down little while later the anouncer says Jr is up to 7'th, my buddies dog raised it's head and put it back down, well the anouncer says Jr. is up to 2'nd his dog sit's right up, so I ask him hey whats up with your dog, He says oh he's a Jr. fan he get's a little excited, I said WOW whats he do when Jr. wins. My buddy says I don't know haven't owned him that long

I would like to put a plug in for F1. You can't watch it from the bleachers so it doesn't have the spectator appeal that NASCAR does but the it you can catch it on the tube it is incredible. If you have the opportunity to watch the race at Monaco you will be hooked for life.
like I said NASCAR is the best motor sport to watch from the bleachers. I kind of expect that in 10 or 15 years all the drivers will look like Danika and one of the requirements will be that they look good in a bikini. Now you could sell beer with that!

I definately think Martin deserves to win the cup, he has put his time, I am not a fan per day "his name sounds like something a Parrot would say lol mark martin mark martin braaack" I was a Wallace fan, since he's retired I haven't really picked a driver, would love to root for the blue duce, but I just can't rood for Busch, he has come a long ways since taking over the 2 but still don't care for him. definately have to respect what stewart has done for Hendrick's I mean his team  first year out.

I respect Tony Stewart for what he has done for racing other than NASCAR. I'm a huge dirt track fan, and Tony owns Eldora speedway in Indiana. For me, nothing better than watching World of Outlaws cars haul <-BAD WORD-> around a dirt track. That takes skill, and testicles the size of cantalopes!
