I have an 86' CJ7 that has become twitchy. Below is a list of parts and mods that might have affected this.

Rocky Road Outfitters SOA kit
Old Man Emu High Steer kit
YJ front spring conversion
Stock axle
33"x12.5" Maxxis Big Horn tires
M.O.R.E. Off Road power steering bracket
2 steering box braces (1 to the front of the box, and one just above pitman arm)...Didn't want that &*%$&@ moving! lol

The SOA kit is meant to self-adjust the caster angle, but with out breaking down the knuckle, the best reading I could get with a degree finder was +4.6. I know it is meant to be around +6.

Also all steering components are new, all tie rod ends are tight and toe in is set correctly.

Here is a pic...sorry about the box, needed to block some light to get a pic.

You forgot the pic..:(

How long have you had it built like that. Has it been ok when it was all new?
I like that color by the way.

The ride was worse with the old set up. (Skyjacker 4")
I have had this set up for a few months but never drove it much because of the move.

Yea...a lot has changed on the CJ since the last posts I had that you answered. I also now have an LT1 and 4L60E. Around 350-400 hp.

Oh yea, Ford bumper paint....$48 for a paint job...LOL

I'd start by trying to get the caster closer to 6-7 degrees. Not sure how with their set-up though.
