:)
Shoot a picture looking from the side at the passengers side knuckle and drag link and all that's attached...........

Obviously there is a few issues there......High steer spindle on drivers side ( looks like Dana 44 chevy PU ) with a connecting arm that may or may not interfere with other parts.....don't need it.
On the picture of the left side looks like the front shackle is laying flat......... Wrong springs , springs flat or worn out , again a picture of that area would help.....but without that shackle laying at about 20 degree's facing forward the best part of what makes a spring suspension work is out of service....
Having that tie rod under the spring as as close as it seems may hit the spring when turning full Left or Right...........as the knuckle arm climbs when turning.
Lots to look at there............Geometry is not good, need better pictures & more!
Not sure who set this up but looks like a few or more mismatched parts.......

That is a real bad attempt at a spring over lift.

A few more.

I have a 72, the lift is very straight forward and can be done by most anyone with mechanical ability. The steering is also straight forward. I would do some research on lifts and start from scratch. Do it right the first time and you'll be happy.

What is really scaring me is, I only see one nut/bolt holding the high steer arm on (passenger side) Is that even a flat top knuckle. Can you take the wheel off and get a pic of how its being held on. Hopefully I'm missing something.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting a new lift and starting over. Have a buddy that will help me install it. Or can what I have be put together correctly? Dont reallu want to take it to a shop and get up sold. What would you do?

I think what you have can be fixed, it will take some fab work (rework).
Since you have the chevy front axle staying soa would make the most since to me.
Are those axles still full width or have they been narrowed.

A few more.
:)
Thanks for getting that camera angle orientated correctly.

First off it looks like the Drag Link will hit the top of the spring as it goes through it's motion......
As Old Dog mentioned it looks like there is only one bolt in the High Steer Arm on the passenger side. Don't drive it!
It also looks like there is no Castor angle in the axle......in fact if the high steer arms were mounted flat on the knuckle as they should be it could be more negative than anything.
Needs about 5-7 degree's of positive angle meaning the axle center line as it goes through the ball joints should be leaning back from the top towards the rear.

There is no easy fix here..........Good steering is first off well thought out prior to any installation where all the components need to go in order to get to the proper steering Geometry.
That means the steering gear is first in line not only in how it complements the angle from the sector shaft through the Pittman arm to the drag link to the knuckle but also it's angle forward through the input shaft going towards the steering column...........

Proper tie rod placement is also important to get the best results.

Keep in mind that all after market steering jobs are a compromise on location placement......... unlike new vehicles where engineer's have a clean piece of paper to start with and can build around it.
But you still must get the placements close in order to get all components to work together and do there Job.

I would find a stock CJ like a 1980 or so and climb under it and look at the angles and placements of components.........this will help you visualize what needs attention on yours.

Before you attempt any lift or adding anything else a solid & correct base in respect to your steering has to be addressed.

Can it be fixed? Yes

There is no way anyone can give you absolute advise just based on pictures.

:D:D:D:D

Maybe pictures with the wheels turned all the way to the right and then to the left would help see what needs to change.
