1979 CJ-5, Factory color "Teal Blue" but looks more Robin's Egg Blue to me. 258 inline 6, T-150 3-speed transmission
As promised, here are pics of the CJ as we got it to my warehouse. Ian pulled out a bunch of leaves and garbage. So far floor panels are solid. Just a few spots of cancer on some edges of the side panels. Already picked up new front fenders from a guy that was going to repair his 76 CJ7 , but changed his mind. Also got a much better condition hood all stripped and ready for primer. paid 200.00 for the 3. Spent the day getting things together to start disassembly, vehicle dollies, air rachet and impact driver, and driver nuts and various other bits and bobs. Sprayed a bunch of nuts/bolts with pb blaster and will start seeing what comes off tomorrow. Thanks for the warm welcomes :)

Good starting point! Good luck with the build!!!

Enjoy the good and bads that will come up along the way!:chug:

No new/used(classic) car is complete without some dead leaves in it. Hey what size are your tires and wheels? I like the lift proportions of your rig.

Welcome, hope the blaster does its job. Keep us posted , looks like I you have a great helper too.
