speed bleeders

I really do not know how to answer this, I thought speed bleeder came with different adapters
oh I see, did a search, they are making a product called speed bleeders now.

Your best bet is to take your stock bleeder to the store with you, but napa can look it up.
They know the thread pitch and count, etc.

Those things are worth their cost when it comes to brake bleeding.
Also grab a couple vaccum covers to slide over the bleeders to protect them
from grime, etc.

That is a good idea. I have them on my s2000 and love them. Takes minutes to bleed the brakes. The brake fluid on my cj looks like water, I really need to flush the system and figured it's be a lot easier to do by myself with speed bleeders. Vacuum covers? Do they come in different sizes?

Interesting.

$28 plus shipping would buy quite a lot of pedal pumping, wouldn't it?

I bought a trigger bottle bleeder system for myself and can bleed all my vehicles extremely fast for 35 bucks a few years back, plus it captures all the fluid neatly

The beauty of speed bleeders is you put a line on the bleeder, crack it open a little, drop the line in a bottle, a few pumps, close the bleeder and it's done. Easy easy.
Just be sure to keep an eye on your fluid level.

I actually did all 4 at once and had the boy pump the pedal while I monitored the fluid level in the MC.

Whatever happened to the time-honored practice of running a short piece of tubing into a little bottle half-full of brake fluid? That does the exact same thing, long's the tubing sticks straight down into the fluid. Crack the bleeder, pump the brakes. the air bubbles follow the tubing into the bottle & pop to the surface. Release the pedal, the brake fluid from the bottle follows the tubing back up & into the brakes. Couple pumps & there's nothing but fluid in the brakes or the tubing.

I do not even have to get out of under the jeep with the bleeder I have, just ask the wife to keep an eye on the M/C

you can buy that setup for 7 dollars with a magnet on the bottle so it sticks where you want it.
I think the guy who invented these speedy bleeders has a market, and they are getting a good product, plus he is making a mint.
The product looks well engineered and worth the money, I personally do not see why I need to fit my vehicles with them, and I think if you do not work on your brakes yourself, you will not get them so it is a Limited market that will buy them.
But hey, like I said, nice product and I see the appeal.

Speed bleeder also has a pouch that you can use to collect the fluid. It works great.
