Is it possible to replace a spindle bolt Without taking apart the knuckle? I know it would be much easer if the knuckle was apart but they are in good shape and I don't want to take them apart if I don't need to. When I pulled the brake rotor off I noticed two of them were missing nuts, and when I tried to put nuts on them found out they were stripped.

With punch & hammer, you should not have to remove anything.

Ditto that.I would think you'd have clearance on the rear of it for them to get fully out. Make sure you use new De-formed lock nuts (aka: stover nut).

There is a couple that will NOT come out. At least not when I tried to do mine that way.

Would it be possible to rethread them with a die? Rod

That would clean up the threads, but the holding ability would be compromised due to some of the threads missing. I carry a small three corner file in my CJs toolbox as the angles do closely match a thread pitch for use on the trail.
