- <1984 CJ-7 258ci Inline six w/Carter BBD carb(114 hp?),Warner T-5 transmission, Dana 300 transfer case, AMC Model 20 rear Axle w/trac-lock Differential and tapered shaft and 3.31 gears, Dana 30 front axle. The most stock vehicle I've ever owned.

i have a SOA lift and love it. but make sure you get a good lift and dont get some hillbilly to do a hack job

If you use the rancho lift springs on your soa that will net you between 7.5-8.5 inches of lift. The soa with stock springs get you aroun 5-6 inches, plenty enough for 38s. What size tires you plan on.
