looking to do a spring over on my cj and am gonna use 1ton springs to help give some lift. Any pointers or ideas would greatly be appreciated.

1 ton springs are going to give you a very rough ride. You can stick with the stock springs, and set around 5" of lift out of them, which is plenty for a 33-35" tire. I, myself am going to run a YJ spring, which is about the same, just the front is a bit wider. With some fender massaging, I will be clearing 37's no problem. I would really reconsider the 1 tons.

Thank you for the advice, I will deff wait and just use the stock and see how it goes. I only thought of using 1 ton's because I already had them at the shop.
So whats the ideal angle of the drive shafts.

Drive shaft length is different for every vehicle due to Transmission and Transfer Case options. You will need to measure everything after the lift is installed to get that number. Dont forget to measure full droop so the shaft builder knows how long the splines need to be.
