Spring Over or 4inch lift kit?

I was thinking of getting a 4inch suspension lift for my CJ5 that just has a body lift now, but was thinking a soa conversion maybe better then the axles will be up higher too for more clearance... any advice would be appreciated

Just to clear things up a little...The axles will not move on a SOA, the springs are the only thing that get moved. It gives you about 6-7" more clearance to fit bigger tires, which does move the axles higher.
If it was me, I'd not go with the SOA, Just a 4" lift (like I have now). It takes time and/or $$ to get a SOA correct, and that keeps the CJ enjoyable to drive. A suspension lift will do all that with very little drawbacks, and less time/$$ invested.

I went with a soa on my 76 CJ5 and love it I'm running 35x14.5x15 nitto mud grapplers. If you want pics let me know

I love my SOA!
Look at my album, but It's like the guys are telling you.
It ain't the cheapest route to do it right.
Doing it wrong has a damn good chance of getting you dead.
I went the high steer with shackle reversal route which I highly recommend,
it also helps get your tierod out of harms way.
My rig will run hand free up to triple digits.

Thanks for the input guys. But yeah I'm tryin to not spend much on this project kuz i got an expensive car that everythings expensive for as well haha, so i think im just gonna do a 4inch suspension lift, at first i thought a soa would be cheaper but clearly not is what youve been telling me so thanks, maybe later on in life ill do it
