Has anybody here removed a leaf from a rough country 4" spring pack? I want to do it just to get a little softer ride, but..... which spring do I remove from each pack?

A friend of mine did this and it didn't seem to make much of a difference. Don't know what make they were but they were stiff as hell.

Rough Country has earned that name.
Try it with-out the shortest leaf.

From what I understand those spring packs are designed to work together. I tried it once and noticed a sag in the lift after a short while. To soften up the ride you can always cut back on the tire air pressure, especially if you are using o/s tires.

The 76 CJ7 I bought last year had very stiff Rancho springs. The suspension would not flex. I called the local suspension shop where the PO had purchased the lift and they recommended I remove the smallest leaf in the front and the second smallest in the back. It made a world of difference.

A quality suspension seat Won’t effect The way your suspension is designed to operate I like a good seat and 28 psi. Just my two cents.
