Hey everyone so I've been researching on how to do a shackle reversal system. Where I'm at now I've read wayyyyyy to much and my head is about to pop. I'm turning this CJ5 into a daily driver. I've done front disc brakes, tie rod flip, skyjacker leaf springs heavy duty greable shackles and the next thing in my head to do is the shackle reversal system. So now do I go bolt on or weld on as well as what brand should I do. And do I need 1 kit or two kits (front and back). If I'm missing anything or am heading in the wrong direction any advice is much appreciated!

I would not recommend a shackle reversal in a short wheel base Jeep especially a daily driver.

MB were SR but they were built for offroad use. Just my $.02

I agree with Posi
I'm sure someone will say it is great but IMO a SRS just opens up a whole new can of worms.

Save your $$$$$$.
Stick with the OEM set-up.

X4!

All of my ride quality and steering geometry issues were related to the SRS my CJ had on it when I bought it. Put everything back to stock and never regretted it.

For primary daily driver duty, I doubt very seriously you will like it and probably won't enjoy the ride.

Daily driver: got that.

I'd like to know what problem were you trying to solve with all this time and material.

Just curious: what's your caster angle?

Hell yes I love yall. So I guess I'm not doing the Srs save some money for my pocket. I don't remember the castor angle but I might have the printout at home. I was trying to achieve a really solid daily driver, one that most people especially girls aren't afraid to ride in lol
