Does anyone know if they make the stage 8 locking fastners for a Dana 30 ? i think they make them for 44 and 60. i would like to put them on my 30.

do you mean grade 8 hardware?
otherwise I am lost

Wow, look at those

And it says right on the front page that they make them for Dana 30 spindles. I need those locking header bolts for my small block.

I have a set of the SB header bolts waiting on me to get around to changing out the rusty, crusty headers currently on the CJ, for the Ceramic Coated headers I bought last year (used 1 year, for a really good price! :))

WoW, dont I feel like a dumb:censored:. I did not know that the spindle nut was the same size. oh well, thanks everyone.
I found this out the first time I did a full floater conversion and we used Dana 30 spindles on a Dana 44 axle, It is not common knlwledge, do not feel bad

Well we all have to learn sometime, some later than others. Speaking of full floaters, i want a full floater on my AMC20 , but nobody makes it anymore. Warn did but dis-con. it. so if anyone knows somebody that may have one for sell keep me in mind, if the price is right - HAHA

A coulpe years ago I found Stage 8 locking nuts and I told them they fit the Dana 30 so they need to say that . They were just listing it for the Dana 44 . same thing. I run them they work great. No more bending over the washer. The will cost you more but once you do it you won't look back. You will have to buy a new spindernut socket.

This is what it looks like inside the hub.

Will the chevy style spindle nut socket work? I think it has 4 lugs in it?

No I'm thinking it was a Ford?

If you can find a set of the axles, call a few of the companies that make axles and see if they offer them. The rest of the parts would not be hard to gather and use.
