Build Thread starting a new project

To start with I would like to thank you for letting me join the group.
I have owned 3 Jeep CJ7s over the past few years. I have had my 81 for the longest time. I built it for playing.
My latest I have had a few weeks now. It is an 84 CJ7 and is STOCK. You don’t see many of those these days and I got a great deal on it.
I have wanted to build a stock CJ for a long time now, when I found this one I had to have it.
I need help with a few SMALL things and not sure where and how to post the request.
I have found most of what I need to restore this JEM.
The big thing I need is photos of a stock 84 CJ7 . things like the decals under the hood and inside the driver’s door. is there a place to buy old decals.

I hear that Golden Eagle decals is good, too.

I strongly recommend that you send a picture of the Jeep with the decals you want your Jeep to look like. The websites for the above listed exterior decals don't show all of the available kit colors for each year. For instance, there are two different "blue kits" for years '83-'84 & '85-'86. Good luck.

I will post pics as soon as I get started. I do not think this one had any decals on the outside so I can put what I want on it. I called the dealer to find out what this CJ came with. all I could find is it had side steps and a white top.

What I am trying to find info on now is any decals that Jeep put on the inside.

well I took a few photos of my 84 CJ7 before I started on it and wanted to post them.
I also posted in the member photo section of my 81 CJ7 .

ok that worked! As you can see. photo 1 shows the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l 6, photo 2 shows the factory jack still in place, photo 3 shows the owners manuals are still in the glove box, and the last one is just a sid shot of what I am starting with.
