finally got it done. since i have nothing better to do. i torn into the module. baked it in the over. got all the crud out of it and mounted the gm module in it. the wife went out and put it on. took a minute for her to fire up. when she did she was purring. i say it was a good switch. the gm module is alot tuffer then the ford one.

Is this so that if someone looks they think it has the stock ford module?

yep gutted the ford module, drilled the holes to mount the gm module in it. the only way you can tell something is different it the two screw heads on the top of the ford module housing.
