Ok , Ive definately determined its coming from the column itself. How hard is this to change? Any special tools besides a steering wheel puller involved? Ive never nessed with a steering column before. Is this something better left to a shop?

Thanx Pete

Of course will need steering wheel puller and rebuilding the bearing section of the column is doable but I ended up taking mine from the previous CJ to a shop. But probably cheaper to find JY column and be done with it unless you just want to attempt to rebuild like most Jeepheads do :D Oh and are we sure it is not the steering shaft to the box?.

Mind if I ask what they charged , just to get a ballpark idea?
