Steering Column Cover/Wrap Replacement

There is some type of vinyl-like wrap/cover on the steering column that is pretty much shot (see image below).

I have searched far & wide, but I can't seem to find a replacement. Is this a Jeep specific part - or is it generic? I'm assuming this cover serves a purpose? Any info on how to go about getting a replacement would be greatly appreciated.

The factory column came with a plastic shroud.
The piece above it is the factory plastic housing.
What you have looks like a replacement for a cracked shroud.
I'm not sure you can buy aftermarket, hence the replacement.
Plenty at the boneyard, but you could make a leather one similar to what's on there now.
