Installed a Rubicon 6" lift kit and new shocks, everything came with the lift kit we put it on a 1979 CJ5 .

It was shooting off to the left and right at will, scare the heck out of you. I was told to shim the castor's and they need to be 4 to 6 degrees positive. did all that and it improved a great deal.

I still have a little bit of wandering going on. When I put the meter on now I am at 8 degrees instead of 6. Would that little bit cause it to wandering or do I need to do something else.

There is a lot of play in the steering wheel about 4 to 5 inches back and forth. I adjusted the steering box it is a little tight I need to back it off some.

If you can move the wheel back and forth 5 - 6 " you have some worn out parts. Need to address that 1st.

I starting to do just that and also my U bolts are still loose and the shackles are still loose so I am going to tighten them.
