I want to keep my 82 CJ7 as stock as possible, I found this suspension rebuild kit that seems to come with all the stuff you'd get in a "lift" kit.

18290.05 - Suspension Master Rebuilders Kit 82-86 Jeep CJ5 CJ7 CJ8

Does anyone know if this is any good, or know of a different rout i could go?
I was just thinking a complete kit would be more economical than piecing something together.

That does look like a pretty good kit, although the shocks look pretty weak. The springs look real good with a healthy second spring on each one of them. A short wheel base Jeep can demand a good set of shocks like the kind the aftermarket has. If you wanted to use your oem springs, a spring shop can re-arc them to oem specs.

I shy away from anything omix-ada sells unless I have no other source. You could probably piece this together for less but you'd have to do the research and math. Do you need everything in that kit, such as the shackles? I'm sure you could get better Monroe shocks locally.

:agree:

Thanks for the input guys, I am pretty skeptical about those shocks as well Torxhead, and as you mentioned PaRenegade I never really have heard anything good about Omix Ada and I probably don't need shackles, this was just the only stock one that I could find that came in a "kit" form.
