I have never lifted a cj before but If its anything like the fsjs I have done I am sure if its anything like the fsjs I have done that there will be atleast one bolt that will be seized to the bushing sleeve.
If my preliminary recon is correct it looks like the rears of the front springs and the fronts of the rear springs are actual bolts and then the shackles have studs built into them... Is that right? do the shackle bushing have metal sleeves in them as well?
Does anyone know what size bolts jeep used in the leaf springs? If i find out in advance before pulling everything apart I can just buy new grade8 bolts at napa and just cut the old bolt out if they are seized to the sleeves and save me the hassle of going back and forth to the auto store....
Also my rear pass side shackle hanger isn't bolted to anything at all I guess the bolt fell out or broke so I will need to replace that bolt as well... DOes anyone know what size that bolt is?
TIA
