I have a 3" body lift on my 1981 CJ7 and want to add a 4" suspension lift. I would like to not break the bank on doing this yet quality is important. Any suggestions?

The term "you get what you pay for" applies here. The most complete and best quality kits are manufactured by Rubicon Express and Old Man Emu...and they are not cheap.
The next step is to pay less for a different brand and have to pay more for the rest of the parts you need....and probably suffer with lesser quality springs..

My advice is to do the research on what you need, and start shopping classifieds. I bought a set of used 4" Superlift springs for almost nothing, then pieced the other components together. Had a shop build me longer brakelines ($30), purchased shocks, U-bolts, etc, and saved a ton of money.

Of course if money is no option, RE or OME are the top choices for a complete kit.

And because you are asking for suggestions.....I strongly advise against keeping the 3" body lift. ;)

Ditto on the 3" body lift.

If you google "best American made suspension lift", BDS is the first result. They have a lifetime warranty on their suspension lifts.

I'm sure BDS and a few $$ had something to do with that.

Rubion Express says thier lift is the best money can buy. Yah and loose the body lift.
