Hey guys,

I've run my exhaust out to just beyond the rear axle. Now I'm trying to decided if I should run them straight out to the rear or turn them outward, behind the rear tires. I'm trying to make sure I don't have to worry about exhaust fumes.

Any thoughts?

If you run em straight out the back it will be awful. Mine were routed that way when I bought it - undrivable with the top off. At least turn em out at a 45 deg angle. Mine turn 90 out - no worries.

Thanks Shum, out to the side it will be!!

BTW, I'm going back through your build thread and reading it again. It's slow going mostly because I have to take a few minutes to stop laughing, way too frequently. I love your sense of humor and the fact that you post all of your mistakes and screw ups. It's a fantastic thread!!

Thanks - I had a blast posting it up..... that wife, however, lost the humorous part about a week in LOL. As for the screwups - it ain’t fair to just show the good stuff. I like to share my misery [emoji106]. I recently found a decent little GoPro camera and a bag of mounts for 50 bucks....... I’m already having fun with that...... It’s supposed to respond to verbal commands, but it obviously ignores profanity - what a killjoy........

I have mine 45ed out to the corner of the tub works pretty good, i want my Jeep quite so I would not mind adding a turn down on the end

Thanks Gert,

I'll give your comment some thought when I get to that point.

45 out behind rear tire(s) and 45 down. Center outlet on rear tread.

Zero fumes.
