I am taking off these revolver shackles and springs and am replacing the springs. If I go back to stock will the 32's I have on the jeep already fit? Do I need springs with a lift?

I have heard of guys using 32s with stock springs, but I think its pretty close and might rub. Options you have if it rubs would be fender and skirt trimming, and/or a body lift, and maybe a set of extended spring shackles with no more than 1" longer than oem. That is a good looking set of springs with the military wraps that you have on. I don't think much of those revolver spring shackles anyway as they can be hard on the spring pivot brackets, like make them twist and crack.

:agree:
What's the reason for new springs?

They feel a little suspect on the road. This is more of a weekend family fun jeep than a hard core offroader. It will see some light offroad use mainly dirt and sand. Not too many rocks around me.
I was thinking about the Skyjacker softride 2.5 inch lift kit. I think that should match what I already have on it. Anyone have any feedback on those springs? They look pretty pricey.

For what its worth, get the revolvers off before you make any judgements about the springs. From what I can see those look like decent springs that aren't all clapped out. I can assure you your issues likely reside elsewhere.

:agree: I was thinking the springs looked fine too. At least give them a chance without the goofy shackles.

Will do. I am sure that I have a tie rod or ball joint that need replacing. Those revolvers pop when you get the jeep moving from a stop and it is getting really really annoying.
So I just take them off the springs and put standard shackles on right?

Never ever ever put revolver shackles on the front.
Removing them is the best thing you can do for your jeep.
The rear is not so bad but the front needs solid shackles.

Yes just get a set from someone like Curry or M.O.R.E. or any heavy duty ones and stay with stock length or 1/2" lift ones.
