I don't know you all by name but I know there are plenty of you on the forum and I just wanted to say THANK YOU. Thank you for everything you have given, and continue to give. For your vigilance and for your sacrifices so the rest of us can live with the freedoms we all enjoy and some, too many, fail to recognize.

THANK YOU!

Hay Tin, I left Ft. Carson back in 83! I bet it's changed a little by now....

Go Redleg!

It's changed a little but we are still using some buildings from the WW2 era.

We try to be safe over here and cover each others back. I am at BIAP ( Baghdad International Airport), what used to be known as Sather Airbase and is now BDSC. In a wet CHU(consolidated housing unit). We fly people around in big old Sikorsky helicopters. I am a crewchief again like i was when i was in the Army. Where were you at over here Tin Medic?

Thank you comrades in arms.

Sure nice to see the change in attitudes toward our soldiers compared to my generation in the 60's 70's war.

Had the pleasure to sit next to a soldier on an airplane wearing the unit crest that I served with in VN. He was out of Ft. Hood. Sure a lot of changes in the way we do things now.

Plumstraight yeah there sure have been a lot changes since then, for the better i think. I know you didn't hear it much back then but i want to say thanks for your service.

Tell your boys thanks for their service. I’m glad there are still young men that want to be marines. Thanks to all the veterans today and everyday.
