Anyone try out "The Cure" by Rough Stuff Specialties?

Stock jeep: The Cure! for Jeep (CJ, YJ, TJ & XJ) - RuffStuff Specialties

1Ton steering: The Cure! - RuffStuff Specialties

My steering has tightened up since I installed the HD steering shaft and new gear box but there is still a tiny bit of play. My Dana 44 has all 1 Ton Chevy steering components. Maybe this would do the trick?

That looks pretty nifty, it has a lot of good reviews might be worth a try. My tie rods are so bent up right now I think I'll wait until I start reworking my steering components.

Seems to have good reviews on other jeeps. For $20 I think Ill give it a try next time I need to order something. JRC has one made out of poly for $7. I dont think it would last very long.

Very interesting… is now on my short list.

This has certainly piqued my interest. I'm still a little fuzzy about how it "stops the roll". It seems to me when you turn the TRE moves left or right. How it rolls I don't understand? The video was good but some before and after footage would be a nice demonstration.

A tie rod end swivels the bolt part. Even when clamped down tight there is still some swivel in there. I believe that's what they mean by roll. So when you turn the wheels, that slack although very small must be moved first. This device makes it more ridged. So one of two things is going to happen, the "cure" will either wear out or the bolt part of the tie rod will weaken and break. Most likely the first part of that. Does that give you longer life of the tie rod end? Hard telling. It might make for a tighter more sport car feel to the steering.

When parked turn your steering wheel left and then right. My jeep feels like there is a tiny bit of play in the steering before actually turning from left to right.

I actually conducted that back and forth steering wheel test about a month ago and discovered a sloppy tie rod end. I don't recall any slop in the drag link but I'm going to check again.
