Hey everyone

About to reassemble everything on my 80CJ7 4-GM 151 2.5. Has anyone sworn to using a timing cover alignment tool such as the Kent Moore J-23042? I wanna do it right and this seems like the right tool for the job. Is their an equivalent tool that local auto parts stores have to borrow or purchase. My Felpro gasket&seal set should be coming soon. Need some coaching on finding the right tool for the job.

While I'm at it do you recommend using a Napa Timing Cover Speedi-Sleeve Kit?

Thanks all!

Mike

I can`t believe no ones answered this, Kent Moore is the Chevy & GM tool maker and it is the only one I have heard of, and if there are others it would be some generic that would fit a bunch of engines... Speedi- Sleeve is not Napa just repackaged as is most of there parts. They are a temporary solution that works right now, not waiting to have
your part machined. I hope that answered your Question.
