Sometimes it gets a bit comical. We get dozens of emails every day asking nearly the same thing: "What gears should I run?"; " Why is my speedometer off?"; "What size tires can I fit?" You get the idea. Sometime we'll get two or three identical question back-to-back. It's almost like somebody out there is messing with us. So to up the sanity level just a tad, we compiled the top 25 tech questions we are answering over and over again.inline_mediumwraptextright32283144/techarticles/154_1004_top_25_most_asked_jeep_tech_questions154_1004_02+25_most_asked_jeep_tech_questions+garage_shot.jpgTrue

I can appreciate your feelings about repeat questions, but I have gone back and reviewed several of these regarding Transmission swaps and lifts and have found new information in the different posts. Thought this site was all about questions and passing on info. Maybe I'm wrong.

Huh? You do realize that threads started in this forum are from an automatic news reader and are brought in from other sites... :D

As for the top questions - I don't think of listing them as a hindrance but a compliment to a site. Many are just happy to get their questions answered without any interaction - look and see how many zero posters we have... :)

We welcome forum interaction and encourage it! :)

You know, I can sometimes get tired of the same old same old myself, but then I pull my bootstraps up and decide to just answer them.
When I started wrenching, back as a teen in Louisiana, I probably asked some questions that were the same old same old to some guys who were kind enough to answer me and teach me what I know today.
OK, I may be a shade tree, but I am a pretty good shade tree, and I do make mistakes, we currently have a thread about the Dauntless Buick 225 V6 fuel pump. I can tell you I was caught off guard. A suggestion was put into my head and I forgot that how a fuel system on the engine was pumped. Guess pulling the pump and blocking off the orifice with a plate to use a electric unit makes one blind to the fact of what drives the pump.
What I am getting at is that we need to remember our teachers who every year got a new batch of kids that asked the same questions, once we think we know it all, we make mistakes.
So let them ask away, consider yourself a teacher, and if you do not want to answer a question just asked last Saturday, link it in the thread.

Sorry CJ, I did not know this was started automatically from a newsreader. My bad.

Now you can call it "the jerk that fooled RockCrawler and Tommy". Glad you have a sense of humor. ROFL Thanks CJ.
