toyota axles

i have a friend with a CJ7 and he just bought these axles for it. i never heard of doing this to a cj. is there any good info out there on what you need to do this? why are these axles good?

yota axels are pretty strong especially for their size, strong enough for 38s. the really weak links are the birfield joints. some folks frown on it, yota parts on a cj . i can't remember if they are pass or driver side drops, but they aren't any different to put in than any other axle.

not sure of the drop. just never heard of this. he just text me he got them for a hell of a deal lol.

yeah no reason not to, i guess especially if he gets a good deal on em. you'll find toyota axles transplanted into alot of smaller vehicles with big tires, samurai's, smaller tube buggy's things like that

they will work ive had a few yotas and beat the heck out of them and they just keep going and the small diffs lead to extra ground clearance so in my mind its a win win








13 1/2" of clearnce under the diff

I had a 4x4 toyota Hilux and those axles were bulletproof, I put 300,000? miles on that truck and wheeled it hard. they are nice axles
